About 234 Strings
Live Piano-Cello Music
Sylvia Goodeve, pianist, and Patrick Kline, cellist, formed the 234 Strings duo in 2017. They met at a chamber music workshop in Ottawa in May 2016. Quickly realizing a shared passion for collaborating and sharing their music, they began performing in local Ottawa gigs for labyrinth walks, weddings, receptions, house concerts, celebrations of life, and in retirement homes.
In 2022, Patrick retired to Arnprior and Sylvia moved to the Arden area, and they continue to perform for weddings, celebrations of life and retirement homes. 234 Strings now rehearse regularly in Perth, Ontario.
